Tadalafil could be beneficial for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in dogs and once-daily or even once-every-other-day dosing may radically improve compliance and therefore overall effectiveness. There is limited clinical experience or published data for use in dogs and any adverse effects should be report to the veterinarian and pharmacist. Tadalafil have fairly narrow therapeutic ranges, and can be difficult to dose accurately for most small dogs.
