Buspirone may be useful in managing specific behavior disorders in dogs and cats, particularly those that are fear/phobia associated and particularly those connected with social interactions. Buspirone may also be helpful for urine spraying or treatment of motion sickness in cats. Buspirone has also been prescribed for anxiety in dogs and cats.
