Cisapride transdermal gel compounded for cats is primarily prescribed to treat constipation and megacolon. Cisapride can be helpful in treating esophageal reflux, esophagitis and primary gastric stasis in dogs and cats.
Do not use in patients where amplified gastrointestinal motility could cause harm. Example: perforation, obstruction, GI hemorrhage.
