Mitotane flavored oral liquid compounded for dogs is primarily used to treat pituitary dependent Cushing’s disease (hyperadrenocorticism) in dogs. Mitotane has the potential for serious side effects and should be monitored with ACTH stimulation testing at least 2-3 times a year.
