Selegiline HCl capsule compounded for dogs and cats is commonly prescribed for the treatment of Cushing's disease in dogs. Selegiline HCl may be helpful in Canine Cognitive Dysfunction and feline cognitive dysfunction syndrome. Selegiline has also been prescribed to help with anxiety in dogs and cats.

Selegiline HCl is not very effective for treating Cushing’s disease caused by the adrenal glands.
